One big video fix that doesn't cost a dime

If you want your videos to look better, you don't necessarily need better equipment. You need better light.

One of the best—and completely free—light sources is the sun. Position yourself about 45° to the sun, ideally near a window or outside, and you'll create more flattering light with natural depth and dimension.

Just avoid facing directly into the sun. It can flatten your features, wash out your face, and leave you squinting at the camera.

And if the shadows are a little too strong? Use a simple white sheet just off camera to bounce some light back onto your face.

Better lighting doesn't have to cost a dime.
